Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
This policy covers the parsix.golf website and the Par Six app as they work today. Par Six is made by ParSix LLC, a Maryland company. If anything here is unclear, email support@parsix.golf.
The short version
- There are no Par Six accounts yet. You don't sign up or give us your name or email to use the app.
- Your rounds stay on your phone, in an encrypted database. We don't receive them.
- The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
The website
parsix.golf is a plain website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising code, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images: everything comes from parsix.golf itself.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site. We don't add tracking on top of that.
The Par Six Arcade game keeps your best scores in your own browser's storage on your device. They are not sent to us, and you can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The app
Rounds and players
The rounds you play, including scores, the players in your group and their names, are saved on your phone in an encrypted database. The key that unlocks it is kept in your phone's secure storage. Nothing is synced to a Par Six account or sent to us. You can delete a round, or erase all Par Six data on the phone, from inside the app.
Finding courses and hole maps
When you search for a course, the app sends your search words to the Par Six server, which looks the course up with our course-data providers (such as OpenGolfAPI, which uses OpenStreetMap data) and sends back course, tee and hole details. Hole maps are built from OpenStreetMap data in the same way.
Location
Location is optional. If you allow it, the app uses your location on your phone to show where you are and your distances on the hole map. If you tap "Near me" when searching for a course, the app rounds your location to about 100 meters and sends it with that search so nearby courses come first. The server uses it only to sort those results and doesn't save it. You can still search by name with location turned off.
Maps
The hole map uses Google Maps. Map images are loaded from Google, which receives the map area being shown and standard network information from your phone, as described in Google's own privacy policy.
No analytics or ads
The app has no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
Changes
Par Six is still being built. Before we add accounts, syncing or anything else that changes what we collect, we'll update this policy and change the date at the top.
